May was similar to the previous 4 months, in that it was pretty non-stop, full of crazy busy. School ended on June 1st this year, so all the end of school year crazies were happening, amped up with 5th grade graduation from elementary school. Middle school for Ria in the fall!!
With Henry now in the nursing home, mom was able to visit for the first time in years. She had some quality time reading with a cat and Iain:

Watching Iain and friend Sarah doing aikido (Iain is allergic to wearing a gi, but they don't mind).
Also, when mom was here Ria had her last session of occupational therapy, as she had kind of plateaued with the progress she was able to make there. We had a little party with Jenny, her OT, and brought a GF cake to share at a mini-party.
When mom wasn't here, Ria had her 5th grade band concert,
5th grade Colonial Days, in which she particularly liked the dancing,
and 5th grade park day w/ bubbles.
The cats continued to be cute, and Iain cleared out some super tall dead bamboo canes
Finally, William got to see a talk by Kari Byron, one of the MythBusters!

That was one busy summer! And some good pics to show for it. I certainly enjoyed myself.
Iain and Ria are looking so grown up now..
